least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me' " (Matthew 25:40)

In the spirit of Saint Francis, the mission of Saint Francis Natural Park Foundation is to provide infrastructural social development projects using and providing training for local labor for the region of Alto Bayano, Panamá; namely water, agricultural, and road construction projects that look to benefit and protect the poor and natural resources in that area.

There has been much deforestation and clearing of the land for farming and cattle raising. Saint Francis Natural Park Foundation trys to encourage conservation practices of the jungle especially in the water basins that contain vast amounts of potable water which is necessary for all who live in Alto Bayano. All ground water from wells dug up to 100 feet deep have proven futile because the water comes out brakish or putrid and colored, so the basins are vital.
